Easter Bonnet Parade – Lyme Regis
Make an Easter Bonnet or just enjoy the spectacle of people in the parade wearing their Easter Bonnets.
The Judging of Easter Bonnets takes place at 2.00pm in the Baptist Church
The parade starts at 3.00pm from the Baptist Church, Broad Street, led by the Mayor finishing at the Jubilee Pavilion on the sea front.
Majorettes forming part of the parade. Prizes in five age groups as well as those for ladies and gentlemen, and special prizes for the best under five entry. The Treetops Cup will be presented to the best entry overall. Prizes will be awarded immediately after judging in the Baptist Church.
Come along to the Easter annual Duck Race, on Monday 17th April 12noon, Higher Mill Flats, woodmead Road Bridge.
In 2017 Tiger 131 will only make two appearances in our arena; Tiger Day and Tankfest 24 & 25 June. As the only running Tiger 1 tank in the world you really can’t afford to miss it!

Veteran, Vintage and Post War classics will again start from Lyme Regis promenade and after the customary call by the Town Crier and address from the Mayor, will proceed to the Clubs home base at Chilthorne Domer Recreational Club. Then it’s onto Wells Market Place and Bishops Walk for the lunch stop before proceeding to the finish and award presentations by the Mayor on Burnham on Sea South Esplanade. Vintage Motorcycle Club, Dorset section visit Lyme Regis. Come and view the parade of bikes first at the Guncliff and talk to the riders. This event is open to motor bikes in production up to and including 1972 including Veteran and vintage. Departs from Cobb Gate/Marine parade. Arrive early to have a good look at the bikes!
